Home Bargains has invested a further £350,000 into its store in Alfreton, which will bring an additional 12 jobs to the local area. The store is now the company’s largest in the UK.
The top brand, bottom price retailer has now brought nearly 55 jobs to the area with the store on Institute Lane. Home Bargains also has three other stores in the nearby areas of Heanor, Sutton-In-Ashfield and Mansfield.
With plans to open a further 50 stores across the UK in the next twelve months, the discount retailer is bucking current trends on the high street.

The huge 27,000 sq ft store will give shoppers the chance to get their hands on even more of the latest bargains, including a great selection of homewares. Home Bargains also stocks a range of other top brand goods at fantastic value, including health and beauty, household, sweets and snacks, home style, and drinks and alcohol.
