Home Bargains has invested approximately £500,000 in its first store in Poole, which will open its doors on Saturday, 5 October.
The top brand, bottom price retailer is bringing up to 40 new jobs to the area, with its latest store located in Poole Retail Park – replacing the former Comet store next to Next Home and Laura Ashley.
The new store will be the first Home Bargains to open in Poole, joining more than 300 across the UK. With plans to open another 50 stores throughout England, Scotland and Wales over the next 12 months, the discount retailer is bucking current trends in the industry.
Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “We’re excited to be opening our first store in Poole and look forward to welcoming new customers through the doors.”
The 15,000 sq ft store will give Poole shoppers the chance to get their hands on the latest bargains, including a great selection of homewares. Home Bargains also stocks a range of other top branded goods at fantastic value, including health and beauty, household items, sweets and snacks, home style and drinks.
