Home Bargains is investing approximately £500,000 in a new store in Ellesmere Port, which will open its doors on Saturday, 25 May.

The top brand, bottom price retailer is creating up to 40 new jobs in the community, with its latest store located in Westminster Retail Park – replacing the former Kwik Save next to the United Carpets store.

This will be the second store to open in Ellesmere Port, joining more than 300 across the UK. With plans to open another 50 stores throughout the country over the next 12 months, the discount retailer is bucking current trends in the industry.

Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “We’re excited to be opening our new store in Ellesmere Port and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.”

The 14,000 sq ft store – which is almost twice as big as the current store at Marina Walk – will give Ellesmere Port shoppers the chance to get their hands on even more bargains, including a great selection of homewares. Home Bargains also stocks a range of other top branded goods at fantastic value, including health and beauty, household, sweets and snacks, home style and drinks.
